Before we get into specifics, the most important thing to note is that all of our pricing on this website includes freight of our bike storage racks to your door.
However, like any good offer it does come with some conditions – and in our case the main condition is that the delivery address is not in a ‘remote’ area. As our business is based in Sydney, what our freight companies consider to be remote and what isn’t is determined from a Sydney perspective. So to be as clear about this as possible I am going to look at each of the States in turn and give you a run down of which areas might attract a freight surcharge for being ‘remote’.
Areas in Eeach State
That might attract a freight surcharge
NSW – Broken Hill and Bourke and the rest of North West NSW.
VIC – All areas should be freight included.
QLD – Inland areas (say more than 100km inland) usually attract a freight surcharge – except Toowoomba to Roma which should be OK.
NT – We get really good freight rates to Alice Springs and Darwin for BULK orders – so any bike storage rack order over $500 to these cities should not attract a freight charge, but other areas in the territory almost certainly will.
WA – Metro Perth in fine for all orders, and orders over $500 to Broome is OK. Most other areas would attract a freight surcharge.
SA – Metro Adelaide and Mt Gambier in fine. Most other areas would attract a freight surcharge.
TAS – All areas should be freight included except remote towns.
